A multidisciplinary discussion on AI in business
The event officially launches the Observatory and brings together representatives from institutions, businesses and the expert community to explore the major transformations driven by artificial intelligence. The programme connects practical applications, strategy, law, the AI Act, technology infrastructure, models, media and communication. Attendance is free with registration, in person in Milan or online.

Leaders from business, research, institutions and the professions explore the transformation brought by artificial intelligence from complementary perspectives.
Andrea Cafà
President of UniEticPmi, CIFA Italia and FONARCom, he develops new models for business representation, continuing education and active labour-market policies. Through UniEticPmi, he promotes dialogue between universities, industry and institutions, with particular attention to accessibility and the ethical dimension of education.
Andrea Cosentini
A physicist with a PhD in mathematical and statistical methods for economics, he is Chief Data Officer at the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He has worked in quantitative finance and led Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Intesa Sanpaolo; he also contributes to the international OECD.AI expert community.
Angelo Maria Petroni
Full Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Science at Sapienza University of Rome. He has taught at Bocconi University, the Sorbonne (Paris IV) and several international universities. He served as Director of the Advanced School of Public Administration and on the boards of Rai and the Institute of the Italian Encyclopaedia. Since 2026 he has chaired UniEticPmi’s Observatory of the AI, Data Strategy and Digital Organizations Department.
Carlo Nardello
He teaches Digital Marketing at Sapienza and Innovative Processes at LUMSA, and is a senior adviser to CONI, Nuovista and other companies, President of Comtel, and a board member of Confindustria Radio TV and Sporcast. He has extensive experience in industrial strategy, marketing and the management of complex organisations across different markets, holding senior roles at Rai Group, TIM, Alitalia, Lego, Johnson & Johnson and Walt Disney Company.
Cosimo Accoto
A philosopher of emerging engineering, MIT Research Affiliate and adjunct professor at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, he studies the cultural transformations created by data, algorithms and artificial intelligence. The author of numerous works on digital civilisation, he supports businesses and institutions in defining technology strategies and AI governance models.
Fabrizio Di Modica
A lawyer with over twenty years of experience in employment and social security law. Since 2023 he has chaired the Technical and Scientific Committee of the #ILLAVOROCONTINUA Study Centre and company commissions. An expert in contracts, he has an established career as a lecturer and speaker at national conferences, university courses and advanced training programmes. Founder of a Palermo-based law firm, he combines legal practice with research for the Study Centre, overseeing publications and webinars on employment law.
G. Roberto Marseglia
A computer engineer with a PhD, he conducted research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley, and earned an MBA from Warwick Business School. CEO of Data Consulting and Sphaera, he works on artificial intelligence, innovation and organisational transformation. Since 2026 he has directed UniEticPmi’s Observatory of the AI, Data Strategy and Digital Organizations Department.
Giuseppe Tango
Delegate from the Technical and Scientific Committee of the #ILLAVOROCONTINUA Study Centre
A judge in the Employment Division of the Court of Palermo, since March 2026 he has served as President of the National Association of Magistrates. He previously headed the association’s trade union office and chaired its Palermo district executive committee.
Massimo Chiriatti
A technologist and essayist with more than thirty years of experience in digital technologies. An adjunct professor at LUISS and Università Cattolica, he writes and researches the relationship between artificial intelligence, responsible organisations and the evolution of human capabilities. He is sole director of Metatecnica, a consulting and training company.
Oreste Pollicino
Full Professor of Constitutional Law and Media Law at Bocconi University, he directs the LL.M. in Law of Internet Technology and co-directs the RULES research centre. His scholarship focuses on digital law, platform regulation and the constitutional implications of artificial intelligence.
Tiziana Orrù
Delegate from the Technical and Scientific Committee of the #ILLAVOROCONTINUA Study Centre
President of the Employment Division of the Court of Rome. Delegate of the Technical and Scientific Committee of the Il Lavoro Continua Study Centre.
Villy de Luca
Portfolio Manager responsible for Capital Markets strategy at Squarepoint Capital. He previously practised law in A&O Shearman’s London and New York offices within the Capital Markets department. He graduated with honours in Law from Bocconi University and earned a Master’s degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford.
